Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of BecomeTheMeme (the “Service”). By creating an account or buying credits you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.

2. What the Service does

You upload a photo and choose a template; we use third-party AI models to generate a short video based on your photo. AI output can be imperfect or unexpected. Templates are inspired by public online trends; trend names are used descriptively and BecomeTheMeme is not affiliated with TikTok or any artist, brand or platform mentioned on the site.

3. Your content and your responsibilities

  • You may only upload photos that you own or have permission to use, of people who are 18 or older and who have agreed to appear in the video.
  • You must follow our Content Policy. We may refuse, remove or stop generating any content that breaks it, and suspend accounts that do.
  • You keep the rights you have in your photo. You give us a limited licence to process it only to provide the Service.
  • Subject to these terms and the policies of the AI models we use, you may use the videos you generate for personal and social media purposes. You are responsible for how you share them.

4. Credits, payments and subscriptions

  • Generating a video costs credits. There is no free trial.
  • Purchases are processed by our reseller and merchant of record, which handles payment, tax and invoicing. Their terms also apply to your purchase.
  • One-time credit packs do not expire. Subscription credits are granted every billing month.
  • If a generation fails, the credits are returned to your balance automatically. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
  • Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.

5. Availability and changes

We may change, add or retire templates, prices and features. We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

7. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Unused one-time credits on accounts closed for a breach are not refunded.
