Last updated: October 21, 2026

This policy explains what personal data BecomeTheMeme collects, why, who we share it with and how long we keep it. We collect as little as possible and delete photos quickly.

What we collect

Account data: your name, email address and profile picture from Google when you sign in.
Photos and videos: the photos you upload and the videos generated from them.
Purchase data: what you bought and when. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store them.
Waitlist: your email address if you ask to be notified when a feature launches.
Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, and errors, used to keep the Service working and improve it. We use Google Analytics for this, which collects your IP address and device information and sets cookies.

How we use it

To generate your videos and show them to you.
To run your account, process purchases and grant credits.
To send transactional emails, for example a receipt or a launch notification.
To prevent abuse and enforce our Content Policy.

We do not sell your data, we do not use your photos to train AI models, and we never show your photos or videos publicly unless you share a link yourself.
